Bottled Water
Turn on the Taps and Ditch the Bottle is a coalition of groups calling on municipalities to ban the sale and distribution of bottled water in municipal buildings. The coalition is urging all Nova Scotia residents to contact their municipal councillors and push for a ban on bottled water in municipal facilities and at municipally-sponsored events. Councillors for the Halifax Regional Municipality will be voting on this important issue in the Spring of 2009.
