The Ecology Action Centre (EAC), Cycling Nova Scotia and Halifax Cycling Coalition are pleased to host a public meeting exploring the possibility of a not-for-profit bike, e-bike and e-scooter share program in Nova Scotia. The workshop will be presented online, with opportunities for questions and conversations.
When: Monday, Aug. 14, 2023, 6 p.m. - 8 p.m.

According to Proposed By-law M-300, Respecting Micromobility - Regulation of Electric Kick-scooters and Shared Micromobility Services, Halifax Regional Municipality is planning to tender a two-year pilot program for 2024. This public meeting will include a brief presentation from Chelsea Cox, Executive Director of Hamilton Bike Share Inc., to share the Hamilton Bike Share operating model, not-for-profit organization and considerations for implementing a bike share system and initial steps. Members of the public will then have the opportunity to discuss interest, needs and potential next steps.
