Maggie has worked in environmental conservation and science education for over eight years in a diversity of roles at non-profits in Newfoundland, Europe and Nova Scotia. She has a B.Sc. and M.Sc. in Geography from Memorial University of Newfoundland where she used qualitative and quantitative research methods to inform wildlife management planning.
In her role as Research and Evaluation Coordinator, she works to understand the impact of Our Food Project, its network and policy partners, and to strengthen the evidence base in food security research. She uses evaluation methods and storytelling to communicate important community food initiatives and issues to a diversity of groups and partners.
In her free time, Maggie enjoys crafting (especially with felt), camping and making maple syrup in the spring.
