Meredith Baldwin

Meredith is motivated by a love for building and supporting connected communities. She is passionate about the collaboration between public and non-profit sectors in urban planning.  Before starting with the EAC she worked as the Executive Director of Trips By Transit as well as with the Nature Conservancy of Canada where she helped in the effort to protect the Purcell’s Cove Backlands. Meredith completed a degree in Community Design & Sustainability at Dalhousie where she deepened her knowledge of urban planning. You can find Meredith hiking and swimming with her dog, Teddy, in many urban wilderness spots around Halifax.

At the EAC, Meredith works to raise awareness for urban planning issues that impact the lives of Haligonians, holds local government accountable to equitable planning, and coordinates Our HRM Alliance.
