Aimée's interest in marine conservation began during her childhood while sailing with her family on the shores of Lake Ontario, and further deepened by her recently discovered passion for scuba diving. After earning her undergraduate degree in Geography and Sustainability from Queen's University, Aimée relocated to Halifax to pursue a Master's degree in Marine Management at Dalhousie University. In her current position at the EAC, Aimée coordinates the Make Stewardship Count Coalition and Local Catch Canada initiatives. These networks address specific challenges in marine environments, aiming to promote sustainable seafood practices and bolster coastal livelihoods.
