Where: Blue Mountain-Birch Cove Lakes

Celebrate your connection to local ecosystems as you learn to identify common plants in the Wabanaki forests of Blue Mountain-Birch Cove Lakes. This short, slow-paced walk features moderate terrain and highlights the ecological richness of one of Halifax’s largest and most important urban green spaces.

Bring your favourite mug to make forest tea, take in scenic views, share your gratitude for nature and explore ways we can take individual and collective action to protect this vital greenspace in the heart of our city. Register below!
