Holly grew up in Nova Scotia and has a passion for marine protection. She recently completed a Master of Coastal and Marine Management degree from the University of Akureyri in Iceland, where she completed her thesis on recreational shark fisheries in Nova Scotia. She also holds a BSc in Biology from Mount Saint Vincent University. Prior to this, she has worked as an Environmental Science Instructor for the Whale Camp in Grand Manan, New Brunswick.
