Hi there! I'm Jillian Ramsay, your Green Cities Officer with the Built Environment Team at the Ecology Action Centre. I've been nurturing a passion for environmental education for over five years now. Originally from Toronto, I made Halifax my home seven years ago to pursue my Master's at Dalhousie University in Resource and Environmental Management. My days at EAC are filled with planning and leading outdoor events across HRM, all aimed at connecting communities with nature and advocating for the protection of our green spaces. When I'm not working, you'll find me off-trail, practicing plant identification, playing frisbee or volunteering at the Grainery Food Co-op. Let's make our cities greener together!
