EAC is currently seeking a Finance Manager who embodies the qualities of intelligence, adaptability, and integrity, as noted by your colleagues. Reporting directly to the Director of Operations and Development, you will lead our finance team in ensuring robust financial oversight, accurate reporting, and strategic planning that drives our organization forward. We are hiring 4-8 canvassers to join our team! You could be right for this role if your enthusiasm and strong communications skills enable you to quickly build rapport with people and create genuine connections, grasping what’s important to potential donors in order to successfully communicate the benefit of monthly membership. Hiring is ongoing through spring/summer 2024.

The Energy team is seeking a Community Engagement Officer! They are looking for someone with a passion for fostering sustainability within faith communities across Atlantic Canada. This role requires a deep interest in environmental issues, particularly energy efficiency and green economy transitions in Nova Scotia. The ideal candidate thrives on working with diverse groups and approaches environmental initiatives through an equity lens. Key responsibilities include supporting United Church congregations in reducing greenhouse gas emissions through energy retrofits, facilitating interfaith collaborations via SCOCANS, and coordinating regional initiatives like the "Been There Done That" Road Show. The role demands strong communication skills, project management experience, and a commitment to environmental justice. They’re looking for candidates with expertise in public education campaigns, community engagement, and policy advocacy.
