Kate DesRoches

Kate grew up in Halifax, Nova Scotia and earned her bachelor's degree in environmental studies at Mount Allison University. Interested in environmental issues from a young age, they became deeply involved in student activism during their time at university, which inspired them to pursue work in the environmental nonprofit field. Kate is excited to bring her experience in communications, research and community organizing to the EAC's Energy Team. In their free time, Kate can be found crafting, reading, rock climbing, playing the French horn in a local orchestra and exploring new places locally and abroad.
