Madelaine is passionate about the power of collective action to preserve nature and wildlife. She strongly believes in fostering deep connections with nature with a view to conservation. Before her work with EAC, Madelaine worked in program development in forest immersion schools and outdoor recreation programs. Madelaine moved to Halifax to earn her BA in Psychology and Gender & Women's Studies from Dalhousie University. She fell in love with Nova Scotia's access to the outdoors, coastal areas and friendly community. Since graduating, Madelaine discovered a passion for fundraising while leading EAC's canvass team. You can usually find her climbing, camping and hiking when she's not at work.
