Nicola Nemy

Nicola Nemy is the coordinator of the Halifax site of Common Roots Urban Farm, which is now gratefully growing under the inspiring umbrella of the Ecology Action Centre. She’s spent nearly a decade working on small farms across Canada and spends most of her time thinking about dirt she can grow food in or ride bikes on. She loves her two second-hand dogs, movements for justice and big shared farm lunches, and hopes you’ll stop by the farm sometime for a stroll through the gardens.
