No More B.S. - N.S. Didn't Ask for Uranium

Despite grassroots opposition from all corners of the province, the Houston government is still pushing this dead-end industry – threatening our land, water and health so the mining industry can make a quick buck and leave us with the mess.

Nova Scotians have had enough. Citizens are calling on the Houston government to reinstate the moratorium on uranium exploration and institute a permanent legislative ban on uranium exploration and extraction.

Add your voice: fill in the form to download the petition to the Nova Scotia House of Assembly. Then, gather signatures from your friends, family, neighbours and allies. You can drop off or mail filled in petitions to the EAC office at 2705 Fern Lane in Kjipuktuk/Halifax to be presented to the provincial government.

Let's send a strong message to the Houston government: No more false promises. No more ignoring our concerns. No more selling out our province to wealthy mining interests.
