Nova Scotia needs better forestry. The Natural Resource Strategy and the Lahey Report both identify widespread, heavily mechanized clear-cutting as a major threat to the health of our forests and the survival of at-risk species like the mainland moose, the pine martin and several types of migratory songbirds.
Help the Ecology Action Centre (EAC) stand up for our forests and the communities and species that depend on them! Order your Stop Clear-Cutting Public Lands lawn sign and show your support for better forestry in Mi’kma’ki / Nova Scotia!
Pick-up is available at EAC's office at 2705 Fern Lane in Kjipuktuk/Halifax during our open hours. If this doesn’t work for you, please contact Joanna at firstname.lastname@example.org to make an appointment.
