Since rejoining EAC in Jan of 2020, Rebecca has focused on improving the sustainability of our fisheries in Atlantic Canada while also working with communities in the Gros Morne region to ensure sensitive marine ecosystems are protected and our marine resources are used responsibly. In 2006, Rebecca received a B.Sc. in Marine Biology from Dalhousie University, a B.Ed. in 2011 and a Master of Arts in Environmental Policy in 2018 from MUN. In her 15-year career, Rebecca has researched zooplankton and the changes in our oceans developed hands-on educational programs and, offered recommendations to improve environmental and fisheries-related policies and programs at the Provincial and Federal level.
