On Feb. 27, 2024, the government of Nova Scotia tabled the Energy Reform (2024) Act, proposing major changes to utility regulation, power systems operation and rules governing power generation in Nova Scotia.
Today, the government of Canada announced an intention to update the Clean Electricity Regulations (CER) and open a 30-day comment period for additional consultation. The announcement follows a 75-day public comment period that ended Nov.
