Tell the Houston Government to Get its Act Together!

In their latest progress report on climate goals, the Houston government is trying to spin their failure on the Coastal Protection Act (CPA) as a win – but Nova Scotians aren’t going to fall for it.

Despite widespread support and years of work, the province still won’t implement the CPA regulations, opting instead to offload their responsibility on to municipalities and landowners. To try and sell this failure as a win shows both an unwillingness to do their job and an insult to the intelligence of Nova Scotians.

They’re hoping that this failure will just go away, but we won’t let it. Let's remind them that our coasts are for all Nova Scotians! Use the form below to send a message to your MLA and Minister Tim Halman, demanding the immediate implementation of the CPA!

Tip: Decision makers pay more attention to personalized emails. Use the text box below to customize your message. If you live along the coast or have experienced impacts of climate change and inappropriate coastal development, be sure to include it in your message!
