Are you new to volunteering with the Ecology Action Centre? Have you been around for a while, but want to find out more information on how to get involved?
Join us for the EAC Volunteer Orientation! It's a great way to learn more about the EAC, meet fellow volunteers and learn more about various projects and campaigns you can get involved with.
There are two sessions for this volunteer orientation:
- Wednesday, Oct. 8, from 6 - 8 p.m. - Online; no capacity limit
- We will be covering EAC's history of volunteerism and who we are as an organization, as well as discuss all the volunteer opportunities we have available.
- Tuesday, Oct. 14, from 6 - 8 p.m. - In-person at our EAC office (2705 Fern Lane); capacity limit of 10
- We'll be diving deeper into the environmental justice movement, connect with other like-minded volunteers and partake in an EAC building tour. By the end of the second session, you should have a clear sense of what your next steps are for volunteering at the EAC. Masks encouraged but not required.
It is NOT mandatory to attend both volunteer orientation sessions. For those considering only attending the in-person session, please note that the session will not go over the information in the first session.
