Sara Farias, a passionate non-binary individual from Brazil, is a dedicated advocate for cycling and road safety. Through their personal project "Nova Scotia by Bike," started in April 2022, Sara promotes safe cycling, community engagement and education. With a bachelor's degree in Social Science from their home country and a Professional Photography certificate from NSCC, they expertly combine their academic background with their profound love for photography, using it as a way to express their values. Driven by a strong belief in social justice, Sara advocates tirelessly, connecting with movements for 2SLGBTQ+ rights, women's empowerment and social equality, both in Brazil and beyond.
