Simone Mutabazi

Simone Mutabazi holds a Bachelor of Science in Biology and a Master’s degree in International Development Studies from Saint Mary’s University. Since 2020, she has worked on a range of Active Transportation projects at the Ecology Action Centre, including coordinating community-based initiatives to expand cycling opportunities across the province, organizing knowledge-sharing workshops and producing community guides on cycling spaces. Now a senior coordinator, Simone works with communities to identify and implement context-specific solutions that support active and sustainable transportation. She also contributes to municipal transportation and mobility policy and advocacy.
