Simone holds a B.Sc. in Biology and a Master's degree in International Development Studies from Saint Mary’s University. Her research interests range from climate change to issues of informal work in the Global South. She has a strong passion for projects aimed at addressing structural inequalities, gained through travel, research and educational experiences. New to Active Transportation issues, she is excited to expand cycling opportunities and resources to underserved communities via the Pop-Up Bike Hub - a mobile DIY bike trailer.
